I have spent hundreds of hours searching the net looking for HTML instructions, and trying to translate what I have found, only finding myself confused and somewhat overwhelmed with all the information.

One thing is for certain, you will always have questions regardless how well tutorials are written. For this reason and through the cooperation of VBulletin we have created the Webmaster Forums for you to ask any questions you may have. Not only are the Webmaster Forums a great place to get help with javascript, and ANY other website related topics, it is also a nice place to tell others about your website, or a place just to rant and rave.

What I would like to do is keep everything as simplified as is possible so that as you begin the process of building your first HTML Website, Advanced HTML For Beginners is by your side each step of the way.

There are few steadfast rules when it comes to HTML , the rules that there are, well they are very simple. Remember being a youngster, mom or dad telling you "close the door". Well the same applies to HTML , if you open it close it.

What do I mean? In HTML we use what we call "tags". There are both opening tags and closing tags . An opening tag looks like this

<tag>

and the closing tag like this

</tag>

You will need a text editor, if you are using windows you probably have notepad or wordpad installed already.

Back to the HTML menu.
