    Question Frame-Parent function calls?

    Hi all,
I'm having a bit of trouble setting up a function call from within an iframe to the parent page.

I have a page setup with an iframe in the center for content. In the page which contains the iframe (parent page?), I have a draggable div layer (followed this tutorial word for word: www(.)codelifter.com/main/javascript/dragablelayer(.)html) which I would like to turn visible when a user clicks a link. However, the links are found within a second html page, visible through the parent via an iframe.

Is it possible to call the function javascript:hideMe() from the iframe page to the parent page when a user clicks a link?

    Re: Frame-Parent function calls?

    Just solved my own problem

It seemed my onClick event found on my links needed an extra "window.parent." infront of the function name to make it work.

Hope this helps those who have the same problem.
