    Image refreshing

    Is it possible to use 'refresh' to refresh an image without refreshing the whole page..?

    If you are talking about the meta refresh, then no, it is not possible. The best way to go about refreshing a single item on a page is to use javascript. For an example, look at http://www.darksidemotoring.com/. Scroll down to the "Shop Now" box. Javascript is used to rotate through images on that one box.

    Yes, jthayne is right, JS is your best bet.

    You can use setTimeout() method to check for the image's source at a given interval. That way, the source is being reloaded again and again at the interval of your desire.

    If you do not want to make the change automatically (using Timeout) you may just write a function in javascript which changes the src part of the img tag and then add a button with onclick connected to this function.
