Subdomain Question
Hello House Members,
Just trying to figure out how subdomain is created on a domain name.
Is subdomain files put in separate folder?
Where and how is it housed on a web server?
I want to create a subdomain for my website, don't know how. Please I need serious education on this

Usually, find some "domain" icon/panel/section on your cpanel or something similar.
Find some links which says subdomain...or something...then you can add one.
What hosting company are you using? They usually provide FAQ section for confused customers.Checkout my porfolio.

Yes, you need to put the files to a separate folder (it is possible to put them to a separet server as well, but it is uncommon if you don't need to serve thousands of users every minute). Then you need the domain panel at your webhosting account (as mentioned here in another answer) - and there you direct your 3rd level domain to the right place (to the folder).
