    Fit Flash in a window

    Hi there,

    I have got a Flash object 860x200. For some reasons i have to fit it in a space 860x75 without the possibility of resizing it or cropping it.

    How can i instruct html to show only the top 75 pixels of the object (width is fine)?

    I have used this code so far but it doesnt work on every browser:

    <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0" width="860" height="200">
    <param name="movie" value="../../Flash/header.swf">
    <param name="quality" value="high">
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent">
    <param name="SCALE" value="noborder">
    <embed src="../../Flash/header.swf" width="860" height="75" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" scale="noborder" wmode="transparent"></embed>
    </object>

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    If you are trying to fit the Flash object into the smaller location, it will have to be resized/scaled/cropped/hidden in some way, shape, or form. If you are unable to edit the original file, then you will need to do this via CSS and HTML. If it can't be resized (what I was pointing you toward) in any way, then it will have to be cropped/scaled/hidden. The best way to hide it is to use z-index and position: relative. The header will then come out looking as though it were cropped.

    What effect are you trying to achieve?
