    This is probably what you want. Don't preload the images or You'll get a script error in IE. Works in NS 4+ also.

    <A HREF="meta.html"
    onMouseDown = "document.images['imBut'].src='img/imButpic.gif'"
    onMouseUp = "document.images['imBut'].src='img/imButup.gif'">
    <IMG NAME="imBut" SRC="img/imButup.gif" WIDTH=90 HEIGHT=25 BORDER=0></A>
    <A HREF="meta.html"
    onMouseDown = "document.images['imBut1'].src='img/imBut1pic.gif'"
    onMouseUp = "document.images['imBut1'].src='img/imBut1up.gif'">
    <IMG NAME="imBut1" SRC="img/imBut1up.gif" WIDTH=90 HEIGHT=25 BORDER=0></A>

    Hey, I couldn't get it to work, but quiet sent me via e-mail a cool program that did everything that even I could figure out how to use! Thanks for everyone who tried and did help. Now I know several different ways to do mouseovers.
