    Creating Direct Links

I am probably in the wrong forum, but I know the site is using asp, so it's a wild guess.

I have a demonstrator website for Stampin' Up. To get to products, you have to click on a Shop Now button. Then you can search or browse for products and use the ecommerce stuff to order from me.

I have a blog and want to link directly to products in "my" store.

However, when I link to a product, it is going directly to the corporate "store" and the user has to enter me as their demonstrator.

Way too klugy. Hoping someone can help me figure out the syntax or a script that would work.

    Links:

    demo site: http://timelesscrone.stampinup.net

    sample demo store: http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx?dbwsdemoid=1231234&email=user@email.com&phone=5405551234

    sample product link: http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=113474

    Re: Creating Direct Links

    I'm sorry. I want it all. ;-)

What I want to do is create a link that I can use on my blog that takes the reader directly to the product page using my demonstrator id - one click.

I do not want to make them go to my demo site then search for a product, as I am doing now, and you can see in the deal of the week banner at http://timelesscrone.com/stampinup

I do not want to to send them to the corporate store product page where I'd have to trust that they would select me as their demo.

I am sure it is just a matter of syntax, but it is totally escaping me.

    TIA
    ~Lisa

    Re: Creating Direct Links

The problem is that in order to select a demonstrator, the person has to log in (at least I am not seeing another way). There may be a way to do it, but I would have to register on the site and see if I could "hack" a way in. I really don't have the time to dedicate to that right now.

Something you could do (and that I think is your best option) is to contact them and ask if there is a way already built in. Many companies have affiliate codes that do that specific thing. Stampinup may have that available to you.

    Re: Creating Direct Links

I need to create a button with the functionality to convert a reprt (Asp page) to pdf.But the host company charges too much to install any thrid party conversion software. Is there any other solutions like just copying libraries?
