    need asp help

i have a new website at http://www26.brinkster.com/ and i'm wondering how this website tells when someone is logged on. currently i'm updating a field in an access database when someone logs on, but it's unreliable as if the user doesnt log off then the field does not get updated. when the user logs on, the username is stored on a session, but i haven't figured out a way of displaying logged on users. any help would be appretiated.

Heres a decent 'users online' script, uses a database and Global.asa -

    http://www.aspalliance.com/stevesmith/samples/whosoncode.asp

the advantage being that a session starts by default in Global.asa , so you don't have to rely on them loggin in/out.

    I think its -

    Code:
    <%
    if Session("SessionID") = "12"
    %>
But you never know with asp. Try both.

    Brinkster is very good, btw.
