    Question HTML Validation Problem

I used the HTML validator to validate the front page of my site and it passed. Now after I have added the logos to say it has passed it now fails. tThe problem seems to that I have an IMG tag in between the <a> and </a> tags. How should I do this so it remains compliant. Site is www.dairyhousestud.co.uk All help and advice gratefully received.

Hey Robbie, welcome to the forums

Could you post a couple of lines that have the "non-passing" code in it.

looks like maybe a formatting problem try to keep your tags on the same line, as it sits you have extra spaces within your tags.
    PHP Code:
    <pre> <a href="http://validator.w3.org/check/referer">
    <
    img border="0" src="http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-html401" alt="Valid HTML 4.01!" height="31" width="88"></a>
    <

I removed the <pre> and </pre> tags and it now validates OK as HTML 4.01 transitional. I will use a table to position the Icons correctly. Thanks for your help
