    Random Border help

    Ok, hopefully this post will not get flagged as I need to post a link to the page that I'm having trouble with. I'll do that at the end of this post in case you need to reference the code to the page or whatever.

    I'm working on a myspace page layout for a personal promotion page and I did a Style, Div overlay on the page. The over lay is 800px wide and i think 800px in height. Once I add my tables into the overlay for the layout it creates about it looks like a 3px border around it even though it states border:none; and no cellpadding. I need it to be flush with the contents within it so that it sits perfect with the main background on the page. Here is the Main html. Here is the link to the page for reference. http://www.myspace.com/banddead Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Code:
    <style>
    .main {
    position: absolute;
    left: 50%;
    top: 190px;
    width: 800px;
    z-index: 1;
    margin-left: -403px;
    border:none;
    }
    </style>

    <div class="main">
    <table style="width: 800px;
    height: 800px;
    cellpadding: -10px;
    cellspacing: 0px;
    background-color: transparent;
    background-image:url(http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/8819/playerdl.jpg);
    ">

    Re: Random Border help

    Hello!

    Your first table has a negative cellpadding, which is a no-no.

    I would start by making that zero instead.

    Hope it helps!
