    is there anyway to subtract money or is that too much? like what if i push a button too many times?

    i just looked again and it is not a huge deal. I like the cash part as is. no need for subtraction

    sorry for so many replies. how did you get it to work. for example are the button and image separate but placed one on top of the other? i would also like to learn using this forum. and the more you can tell the more i will learn. Thank you.

    Hi there dito33,

    I have now completed the main calculator, it is not perfect to my eyes but should be suitable enough for your young students.
    Getting the functionality to be perfect would take more time than I have for this project - (other forums to visit, other members to assist ).

    Yes, of course there is.
    How you choose to do it though, only you can know.
    Personally, I learned by working the forums and attempting to solve members problems.
    Initially, as you can imagine, there weren't many that I understood but I improved in time.
    Six years later and I am reasonably proficient in HTML, CSS and a little javascript.
    How did you get it to work. for example are the button and image separate but placed one on top of the other?
    This was achieved with CSS.
    The images were re-sized to a suitable dimensions for the project and then set as background-images to the buttons.
