    regular ol' html

I'm doing a project for school and I was doing all this fancy schmancy artsy stuff, when I realized I don't know how to align text links on the left side of my page, while still being able to write on the right side! I'm too scared to try frames, and I tried a flash movie navigation bar, but I'm not sure about that. Any help with .swf or old fashioned html would help immensely!

    Or.....

Or, if anyone could perhaps tell me how to make a page open within a text area, as opposed to sing frames? Thanks!

    'Allo.

To load a page 'within' a page, use inline frames. Heres a tutorial -

To have text/images on the left and more on the right, the normal way is to use tables. try the table tutorials on the left of this page.
