Dave, how did you...
do your automatic search engine submital? And where can I get forums like this. I won't have as many topics, but at least I'll allow them to ask questions and stuff not through e-mail. And when my sites finished and I have everything up, would any of you mind helping me with my forum to? Seeing that I'm not the most expert web designer in the world

If I understood your post correctly, you want to submit your sites to a search engine, correct?
the best way to do this is by hand, as the automatic e-mails are usually blocked by the search engines anyway, or atleast the more popular free ones.

As to forums, I set up my firt one yesterday, and I found -
to be an absolute treat to set up. I have never done any cgi stuff, but this worked first time and only took an hour!

Thanks, ikonboard is the perfect thing. I'm going to be using spaceports so I'll have access to cig-bin, and I was think that popularity checker was an automatic search engine submitter, but I realized it wasn't yesterday but was too lazy to post a reply. Thanks for helping me out with my site stuff. And, back to my 2nd question, how many of you would be willing to help with questions in my forums when my sites up. Probably not you Dave, cause I know your probably busy as heck, seeing that you have lots to do. But would any of you else be able to help me out? I know your busy also, but it would only take a second probably, seeing that my site won't get near Dave's traffic for a while.

As Dean stated Ikonboard is your best bet, but you must have access to cgi-bin. As far as automatic search submission, I do not have one at AHFB. It is something I am considering, but it will just be for smaller engines and ffa's, you should never use an automatic submission service for yahoo, lycos, altavista and other large engines.
