    Scrollbar Q

I've seen loads of scripts for changing the color of the scrollbar on a page but none for changing the width of a scrollbar. Is it possible to do this?

Not in the current browsers, I am afraid.

    Nope

The scrollbar is a feature of the specific browser, not the webpage it supports. You can, however, change the width of the scrollbar on YOUR computer easily (in settings/display I think).
Microsoft was good enough to let the colours of it be changed for web design purposes. I suppose if they gave us the ability to change the width of the scrollbar, it would start leading to things like changing the browser settings and that would just open a whole new can of worms.

If you can get rid of the toolbar, address bar etc. I don't see the problem letting people change the width of the scrollbar. I'm just thinking about inline frames etc which might benefit from not having a huge, clunky full size scroll bar. We'll have to have a word with Mr. Gates...
