    Transparent Tables

    Hey, I need the code for making transparent tables. I have it at my house but unfortunately I am at my grandfather's house and cannot use it. So if you know the code to make transparent tables please reply. Thank you very much.

    A tables background color is transparant by default, so you might want to explain what you need a bit more as I do not understand.

    Oh sorry, I meant just partially transparent but it's alright, I found the code and there are even some different things that I can do. You can make it kind of like a gradient... I'll post the code here it's really cool. I think that it's CSS.

    style="{filter:xray alpha(Opacity=50, FinishOpacity=1, Style=3,
    StartX=0, FinishX=80, StartY=0, FinishY=80)}"

    You put that in the table tag or I guess the td tag would work as well I'm not sure. You can change the style also, I think there are only 3... Anyway I'm going to go play around with it for a while. Tell me what you think.

    i think only IE 6 will render this table properly, as IE 5.5 and below does not allow access to the filter.

    Hmm... I thought something like that would happen and I bet Netscape doesn't support it either.

    The 'filter' attribute is a microsoft invention, so It will be IE only.
