Hi,
I will try to give you a bit more info regarding my problem.the problem is at http://mysite.freeserve.com/predictionsleague/ then click on the 'submit your scores' link. What i am trying to enable is for people who have entered my competition to submit their name,password,e-mail address and scores to me by clicking on the 'submit your predictions' button at the bottom of the page.I would like all information sent to get to me at my e-mail address.
Thanking you again in advance for any help.

Go look at the source code at http://email.jamrent.com to get an idea of what can be done - with and without the help of the web host's FORMs support.

Thanks,Benzden, for your reply.I followed the link you mentioned but i didn't really understand it.I am very new to this type of thing,HTML codes, cgi etc and am finding it all pretty confusing.
I followed the instructions on the ahfb2000 website to get the drop down menu's and the submit button etc and had no problem putting them on my website.I just don't know where to go from there - how to link the information up and let ppl send the information to me by clicking the 'submit' button. Is it really that complicated? will it be easier if i get a computer expert to do it for me?
Thanks again for your help,

The answer to your problem has already been provided in the previous post. A more sophisticated example (requiring a web host provided .cgi FORM) is at http://email.coalumni.com . You should look into hiring someone to manage your web site for you until you decide upon other alternatives such as learning more yourself or getting help from one on one groups in your locale.
I'm not in the business of designing web sites for others. Others around here may be.

This is a useful tutorial on the concept of CGI, or Common Gateway Interface -
http://mastercgi.com/howtoinfo/formtutorial.shtml
Don't forget, your isp/host probablt has a builtin cgi called formmail which lets you squirt a form at it, and it will process it as an email. Check out your hosts FAQ's.If one of our members helps you, please click theicon to add to their reputation!
