    index page... no good?

Someone told me that having my homepage titled index, as the design program named it, is not good for SEO. Is this true? If so why?

    Re: index page... no good?

Are we talking about the file name of the home page or the actual HTML title appearing on the header section of that home page.

I went to your site and notice you have "Home.html" in your navigation link and another page certainly "index.html" that displays when I just enter http://www.libertyplumbingandsolar.com in the web browser address box.

That means you are using 2 different pages as the home page.
You need to choose only one of those page to be consistent and make sure your inbound link juice is not wasted.

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I will eliminate one of the pages.
