    pointing domainname at an IP

    Hello.

I have a free web hosting account at netfirms called (not real) http://phil.netfirms.com/

I own www.phil.com (i dont really but for example) and can manage my own DNS for the domain.

I would like to setup the DNS so that it points at the free subdomain with netfirms.

    (1) Can I do this?
    (2) How do I get the IP address of the netfirms subdomain?
    (3) Are netfirms likely to have any security measures to stop people doing this?
    (4) Will it be like paying netfirms to host the domain name for me (ie like a non-free account). I mean apart from the banners being there, what are the disadvantages?

    Thank you!!
