I still can't get this embed code to work

Hi, I previously post asking how to play a wave file when a button or image is clicked. I received some fantastic guidance. Trouble is, I can't get the code to work for me. I've been trying all day and just don't know enough to plug my file into the code and get it to work.
I want to play a .wav file once and hidden when a button or image is clicked.
It was suggested to me in my previous post the this site might help
    http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/mark/audio/play.htm

I've tried two ways and can't do it right:
    4. Controlling an Embedded Sound using JavaScript (New)
    and
    6. Using Dynamic HTML

I just can't figure out where to plug my .wav file in, I know it sounds dumb.
I'm very, very reluctant to ask this, but I'm hoping someone will take pity on me and tell me how to incorporate the wave file into the code.
I've set up two pages with the exactly copied code
    http://mountaindream.freeoda.com/pages/pgtest9.html
    and
    http://mountaindream.freeoda.com/pages/pgtest10.html

The wave filename is laugh.wav and is in a folder named "pages" along with the two test pages.

I am very sorry to ask this, but if someone would help me on how to use this code, it'll probably make sense then. Also I would be so appreciative that I would solve the Middle East problems, eliminate the national debt, and find jobs for all the unemployed!

Thanks a million! Just what I needed. I'll be able to learn alot.
Right now I have to get fulfilling those outrageous promises I made. Thanks again, I hated to ask for that kind of help. But I sure needed it. John
