    Trigger form action

    I need some help with forms and how to trigger them

    I have included <form action="address" method="post"> in my html page and I wonder how I can trigger this using a href? I don't want to use scripts or an image to trigger the event.

    So, how do I trigger a form using a href?

    (Sorry if the posting was duplicated, I'm not sure the one I did some minutes ago really was posted)

    Heres a simplified version demonstrating how to do it -

    Code:
    <form name="badger" action="http://www.quietdean.com">
    </form>

    <a href="#" onclick="badger.submit()">submit</a>
    That should do it. beware tho, the submit button is universally recognised as what to click to submit a form, so by removing that and replacing it with something unfamiliar, you are reducing the useability of your form.
