    i need help...

    i know a decent amount of html, i can create decent web sites in html.
    however im building a website for my history class and i dont konw the tag to put a *.mov file into the html, i tried:
    <img src="*.mov">
    although that didnt work, and i cant think of anything else that might work. any suggestions? or anybody know what im talking about?

    You need the embed to object tag, try -

    that worked better than my idea. here is the source code, is this right, because im getting errors when i try to view the movie.

    errors like:
    "the plugin was loaded but the movie did not download successfully."
    "an error occured inside the plug-in contained on this page"

    those are the two errors that come up.

    no, they just pop up, and have the "OK" button, nothing i could do about it.

    its not on the internet yet. i was avoiding posting it until i had all the bugs out of the site.

    How about you post your code on the forum here so we can see whats wrong? (I agree nothing should be published until the bugs are fixed)

    make sure your url is correct.
    this looks like the movie is too big and while downloading the connection gets broken, so the movie isn't downloaded completely and can't play.
