    Strange problem with print css

    Hello everyone!

    I'm new to these forums, so please forgive me if I'm supposed to review something before I ask a question.

    I am in the process of redesigning one of my sites. Currently there are over 650 pages at the site, so I wanted to completely seperate the layout from the content to make adding and updating easier.

    So far I think I've been able to create a layout which looks consistant in all the newer browsers and an alternative layout that works in all the older browsers (although it's not as pretty).

    What I'm completely stuck on is the "print" style.
    For some reason when I go to print the page (or look at it in print preview) the logo and page title appears on the first page and everything else is moved to the second page.
    Please help! I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I don't know how to make it stop splitting the page up.

    My template is at: http://cpchallenge.com/testdesign/test5.shtml

    If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it!
    Also, if anyone sees any problems with the screen layout, please let me know.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hiya.

    Firstly, try removing in fancy.css -

    Code:
    div.back
    {
    	clear: both;
    	page-break-before: always; <-- THIS ONE
    	margin: 2em 0.5em 2em 1em;
    	padding: 1.5em;
    	color: black;
    	background: #CCC;
    }
    Its also in shadows.css . Rmeove them, see what happens

    Nice use of CSS btw, and very attractive design.

    Thank you so much!!!
    That was definately the problem.

    The css has been through a number of revisions trying to get the layout to work the same cross-browser and still be clean and simple.

    I guess I've been staring at it too long... I didn't see those at all.

    Thank you also for the compliment on the design! I definately appreciate it!
