No. What I'm looking for is how a sub-domain such as http://test.gumint.com would be set-up via DNS forwarding when the real physical location of the associated html file is at http://jamrent.50megs.com/ben/test.htm .
In other words, were my domain name gumint.com to use DNS fowarding to point to my web host server at http://jamrent.50megs.com, how could the sub-domain http://test.gumint.com find http://jamrent.50megs.com/ben/test.htm?
In other, other words, would the real location have to be http://jamrent.50megs.com/test/index.html for that kind of DNS forwarding to work? Or, does DNS forwarding even allow that kind of sub-folder = sub-domain type of process?

Without that capability, what it indicates is that DNS forwarding is for "one issue dedicated" web sites (most likely commercial) that don't involve a lot of sub-domain usage or need. And, that those sites are set-up as the sole account on a web host server - although one could probably use DNS forwarding to have more than one domain name pointing to the same web host server location.
