overwrite results on submit form
Hello all - this is my first post.
Have a very simple form (inputs= title and comments) on messageform.htm. Want results displayed on message.htm upon submit. This works, but each time I submit it appends the message.htm page. I want it to overwrite it so only the current submission shows on the page. How do I do this?
Thank you in advance,

It depends heavily on what language you are using to capture the form submission data and what the scripting does after submission.
Would you mind posting your code for message.htm so we can see what it does/is?

After checking your form and its confirmation page, I wonder why you would want to overwrite the data in your _vti_bin.../message.htm? Any text entered would be lost upon entering new text. Unless you were checking the file very frequently, you would only see the last message.
If you are having trouble reading the multiple messages in your message.htm file, try sending the form results to _private/message.txt, and then downloading it to a database on you local computer. After each download, say at the end of the day, delete the message.txt file from your server. It will automatically be replaced when the next message is posted.
Hope this is helpful, or have I missed the point entirely?
