Im bored, and just bought a good cd last week...

So.. anyone like Linkin Park? Im not to sure what the musical tastes are around here, but I think Linkin Park's new cd, Meteora is amazing.. alot better than 2000's Hybrid Theory..

They progressed alot, sing more, less yelling.. it's just amazing.

Another good cd, Ǽnima by Tool.. it was released a few years back.. Tool is amazing as well

Since this thread really is stupid, post your top 5 favorite bands

    • Sepultura (With Max)
    • Tool
    • Otep
    • KoRn
    • Linkin Park

Hybrid Theory was amazing.. I think there is still more meaning, and a lot less screaming on Meteora (I hope your talking about Meteora, and not ReAnimation since it really wasn't a *real* cd by them)

The music on Meteora is alot nice as well..

    Willie Nelson

My favorite of the newer bands would have to be Disturbed and Godsmack

They played my highschool in the mid '70s! I think that I saw them something like 18 times before Kim Mitchell went solo.
    Other's I like:
    Saxon
    Judas Priest
    Metallica
    Slade
    Helix (old buddies of mine
    Loudness

Pretty well anything heavy metal that influences the ambiance

I thought I would hate ReAnimation, but it turned out that I really liked it.

Its not so much that I don't like the latest album, It just not *gobsmackingly good* like the first one.

In no specific order, since I like too many different kinds of music:

    • Saves The Day (Emo)
    • Incubus (Rock)
    • Paul Oakenfold (Techno/Trance)
    • The All-American Rejects (Emo)

These are the CDs/MP3s in heaviest rotation for me right now, but it changes quite frequently.
