    Unhappy problem with "<" and &lt;

    I have some xml that creates an html. But because of the
    "<" issies it replaces the < with &lt;

    The html will not execute as expected with this code.
    It does of &lt; is replaced with <.

    As I understood, html was supposed to undestand this.

    Hi.

    No, html wont work with that.

    If you use the &lt; string then it displays the character < instead of parsing it as html. We tend to use it when trying to display code instead of actually using it. View source on this page to see what I mean.

    You will have to actually output the < symbol to get it to work properly.
