choppy images
Has anyone had a problem that when you insert an large image into a blank page, the picture is kind of compacted and 'choppy'? If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to know.

Few questions:
Is the image, by default, larger than the width of your monitor/screen?
Are you using Internet Explorer 6?
Do you get an 'Image Toolbar' when you hover your mouse over the image? If one of our members helps you, please click theicon to add to their reputation!

And, are you trying to fit the image into a pre-defined space that has dimensions not proportional to the image size?

I'm using Internet explorer 5.0.
The image(s) are not bigger than my monitor lengthwise but they are heightwise.
No image toolbar.
I'm not trying to fit the image in a predefined space... unless there is one by default.

Also...
There's no pre-defined default image size, the default is the size you make the image in the image editor (pixels, inches, etc.).
Have you tried just opening the image in a browser? (just right click the image.gif/Open With.../browser of choice.
Is the image a bitmap, gif, or jpg?
What image editor are you using?
Have you seen the image in a browser before? Or is it a digitalphoto/scanned image?]
