columns associated with layers
I have another question, hopefully somebody can answer this. I am used to working with nested tables to design websites. I would use three columns and three rows. the two side columns I include a repeating background image. The four corner cells i use an image to connect the side column bg to the top or bottom bg. Finally, the center cell is the content, which is expandable and other cells adjust to the size. Is there a way to achieve this same effect with layers? If possible, please im me over AOL IM. My screen name is n00ge (zero's not the letter O). Thanks.

Its possible, but you would have to use strict positioning control, and the browsers are not that hot on position as yet.
I hate to say it, but for that level of control over pieces of graphics, I would stick with tables. If one of our members helps you, please click the icon to add to their reputation!
