    Exclamation Frame Size?

    Ok I'm still in the process of learning HTML so bear with me(this is only my second day on it ) My site is http://home.adelphia.net/~dabailey and what i can't get is the top frame to resize because I had a bigger image in there but found it to be too big so i put a smaller version in and now the frame is too tall. Any help would be appreciated. I also am not sure on one thing...do i make a separate html file (http://home.adelphia.net/~dabailey/frames.html) for my frames info....this is what i did...but i'm not sure if it's the correct way to do it. All i know is that it works for now.

    Hmmm, i'm a little rusty on frames at the moment, but i'll do my best to help you.

    In your HTML for index.html (the first link you posted) you have the following tag:

    <frameset rows="150, *" frameborder="NO" border="0" framspacing="0">

    Change the 150 there to 110 (the size of your header image) or to any size you want it.

    That should do it. Upload the index.html again and refresh your browser.

    Hope that helped

    And in answer to your second query, yes making a separate frames page is the way to do it.

    I had a look. Not ****ing at all. Impressed with the graphics.

    I see your a Counter-Strike man? I'm a TFC person myself, but maybe when you fancy a real game I'll see you on a TFC server...

    I also looked at your m8s site, Magma. He has an image on there called rifle.jpg. I was wondering if this image is public domain, or whether my clan could use it?

    BTW, the links on his site are so blurred that you canot read them. I preferred your site.

    Overall, good job! Your first site? damn good job!

    Thumbs up

    Thanks for the support Dean! I've been a TFC man from the start actually, before I got my nifty cable modem I was only into TFC. I had clans recruiting me and stuff, even more so once I got my cable modem but I'm kinda involved being co-leader to my CS clan. I still love playing TFC though. Sgt_York, creator of Planet Magma, would most likely be happy to talk to you about that image. His ICQ is 30541628. I'm thinking about being a graphic designer when I go to college either that or architect, but anyways thanks for the moral support and my page should be done any day now. Oh yeah one question finally in this super post! How do i change the color of the scroll bar on the right?

    Cool, I'll give the guy a bell.

    Scrollbars - ever used CSS b4? Put this in the <HEAD></HEAD> of your document -

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    BODY {
    scrollbar-face-color: #6A778C;
    scrollbar-shadow-color: #6A778C;
    scrollbar-highlight-color: #6A778C; scrollbar-3dlight-color: #000000;
    scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000000; scrollbar-track-color: #ABABAB;
    scrollbar-arrow-color: #000000
    }
    -->
    </style>

    Obviously, change the color values to suit. Have fun!
