    divs versus layers in navigator/i.e.

    Help anyone?

I've really just finished designing my first site. It works really well in ie, but I just tried it in navigator 7.0 - and it looks really bad. I used mostly divs, nested divs, and tables. Is there a way I can insert the layer tags or other tags so that navigator and ie will display my site correctly. I'm talking - the layout is all over the place in navigator. I'm hoping to at least clean it up a little bit without having to redesign the whole thing.

    Desperately seeking help!

    Dan

Dean, I've checked the thread every day and my email with hopes that you would've replied to the zipfile I sent to you at www.quietdean.com.

Didn't mean to offend you - pardon my unfamiliarity with the proper etiquette here. I believe I mentioned this was new to me.

I didn't feel comfortable posting the code here at this time, and the page is not yet published, thus the email.

Private, free, personal consulting - hey, what a deal! Is this a new policy?! My impression has always been that forums like these are where people share stuff in public for free.
