hey everyone ok i am kinda a newbie as u can see but i got a new host but i am currently hosting at a free hosti how do i change to my new host from my old free host i changed the nameservers and everything but the url www.gdogs.org still goes to my old site i changed the redirect to blank and everything but it still goes to my old page i need help please thanks!!!

i am not getting anything like that i don't know how to transfer my domain to my hosting company i bought it from fourtune city so i log in there i just don't know how to direct my domain to my new hosting provider please help thanks!

yes i did change my nameservers at fortunecity to point to ns1.esphinx.net and ns2.esphinx.net and even when i go to my page www.gdogs.org i don't get the place holder? do u know what might be the problem

as posting in the hosting area of this fourm when i log in to cute ftp and connect to my ftp this appears on the left hand side i am fimilar with cute ftp and ftp all together but this this is new to me have a look
which one do i upload to to take place of the placeholder? and also i can't connect with ftp.gdogs.org i can only connect with www.esphinx1.net than my user name than my pass do u know why?

yeah i know they did not tell me anything if u want i can send u a copy of the email for u to take a look at if you would like to help me out i just can't figure out i don't have a public_html folder and thats what i am used to?

Your host has a support ticket system. Give it a go, they are better qualified to to answer questions about their own service than we areIf one of our members helps you, please click the icon to add to their reputation!
No support via email or private message - use the forums!
Before you ask, have you Searched?

Go to your domain, it will show the placard that benzden described, view the source.
Log in to FTP, open every folder looking for a file called index.htm or index.html. Once you find a file open it and view it, if the code is the same as the view source of your placard, you have found where to upload to. If the index.html you find has different code than the code for your placard, than it is the wrong file, keep opening until you find the right one.
