    Help with text/link colors

See the linked graphic. I'm planning to use it on a black background. Since I'm color impaired, what colors should I use for text and links (normal link, hover, visited, and active)? If possible, specify the colors in hex. Thanks.

Personal taste, but I picked out similar colors with a picker -

    link #FAC867

hover: same with underline (i always like them )

    visited #A76F13

    Active #DFBC79

They are all very close in shade except visited, thats noticably darker.

They are just quick picks tho, they might look 'orrible

Thanks. I'll give those a shot and let you see how it looks on the background.

I know that it's plain, graphics-wise, but I'm more interested in speed.

Looks good. The black-to-white contrast is a bit juddering, but then again the white background/black text is also very easy to read, so depends on your priorities...

Might be worth exploring a border round the main text, blend it in a bit.

Thanks. Someone suggested that maybe a light gold or beige would be better instead of the white.
