    hiya. Welcome to the forums.

    Never use midi myself, but have heard that www.midi.com is decent.

    midi, i can't think of any. Midi music is not the best in my opinion. But hey if it makes you happy, then go with it.

    If you like video game music (and I mean old video game music, lol) vgmusic.com is a good place to start.

    In quick response to deadfinger04, no, you can use whatever sound files your client has codecs (drivers) for. You just embed it using:

    Code:
    <embed src="/music/musicfile.wav" autostart="true" loop="false">
    There are other options, even "special" options given you're using a plugin or such. You can use MP3s, WAVs, etc; however, MIDIs are the most "bandwidth friendly", and unforutnately, typically the most annoying.

    In addition, I've seen a few sites that add a small flash logo that also streams MP3 music... I'd need to find the site again though to cite an example.

    Hope this helps...

    Regarding midis... hmm... MidiFarm is the only one that comes to mind at http://www.midifarm.com/files/midifiles/ I think I still have some links from my old video production days... midis made decent fillter music and were easily found as public domain. I'll post more links as I find them.
