    Getting the info to be sent

    I made a comment page for my site. The only problem is when you fill out the information a pop-up comes up and says it will be sent by e-mail and stuff. But after you click ok it just go into your e-mail and makes it like you are about to compose a message, and the feedback is not sent. All I want it to do is for it to e-mail me the feedback. Here is the script I am using:

    <html>
    <head>
    <font size=3 face=Rainbow6 color=green>
    <body bgcolor=black>
    <title>Comments and Feedback</title>

    </head>

    <body>
    <form method="post" enctype="text/plain" action="mailto:AN-94@comcast.net">

    <feildset><legend>Comments and Feed Back</legend>

    <p>Name: <input type="text" name="firstname" size="15" /><br />

    E-mail: <input type="text" name="email" size="25" /></p>

    </feildset>

    <feildset><p align="center">Comments</p><p>
    Please write any comments you have or think:<br />

    <textarea cols="40" rows="7" name="comments">

    </textarea></fieldset>

    <input type="submit" value="Submit" />

    </body>
    </html>

    Hiya,

    The problem with 'mailto' forms is that they just dont work.

    You need some kind of server-side processor to send the email properly.

    Check out your host. they may have something called 'sendmail' and instructions on how to use it. otherwise, look thru www.hotscripts.com , as they have load sof email processors.
