    Arrow Image reloader

    i checked out all the image reloaders that are posted on here but i have on further question. on the server i am running the images are all in subdirectorys ex. gallery/vegeta

    sub directorya dn another sub directory in it. so i was wondering if there is a script for stuff liek that. something that can random take images out of diffrent directorys eachtime. since i got around 30 direcrotys in main directory called gallery.

    Hiya,

    Probably your best bet would be to use a javascript random image generator

    http://www.javascript-page.com/ranimage.html but populate the images array with PHP, using something like the readdir() function.

    i ahve like 600images. hwo woudl i make that since the code will be big. is not there easier way liek just to grab a directory instead of image its self example. image[0] = '0.gif'
    to be changed to directory instead of image its self. adn then to grab image by its self.

    Thats what php's readdir function does. You could use it to list the contents of the directory automatically, and write out the javascript array automatically.

    Though I think an array with 600 elements might be too much.

    It might be easier to use a pre-written Random image script from www.hotscripts.com
