    Post What is the trick??

Has anybody seen some websites with graphics that when you pull them they actually look smaller than on your screen.

A good examples is the following website http://www.mjhallandcompany.com/
The graphic in this page is one single graphic, if you click and drag it to the side you can see the picture looks smaller than the way it lays out on the page.

I was just wondering if this is a trick to optimize graphics.

I hope I was clear enough, it's kind of hard to explain. If you don't understand what I mean send me an e-mail at

    Thank you

    Your right.

    That is hard to explain.

I cannot 'Drag' an image on a webpage. Could you try to explain to me what you mean.

Probably my fault, all of us people from the UK are dim.

I would call it just poor designing, the image is actually one size but specified differently in the HTML. As far as optimization, the image is over 100kb, which is already twice what a page total should be.

    Question

Are you using Mac or PC??

I think you can only see this effect on Macs.

You really have to see it to understand it.
