Question submit and thank you page?

I have developed a standard webiste using FrontPage XP, the submit page works greatt except I can't get it to display a Thank You! page after hitting the Submit button:

    http://www.autumntree.com/contact.htm

    http://www.autumntree.com/ty.htm

Please advise, what I can try or what I may be missing in order to get this to work.

    Thanks in advance,
    NAM

You are using a simple HTML command to send the form which uses the user's e-mail client. Does your host support FP extensions? If so, I would recommend using that - it is a somewhat better than using the mailto: command.

corey can send you code if he wants to, but we do encourage posting on the forum so that everyone can learn from this.

I dont know if you are aware, but you locked your thread. I am unlocking it so corey can post if he wishes.

If you dont like checking a forum to see for answers, you can tick the 'notify me' section and get emailed when someone replies to the thread.

    Thanks Dean!

I did refer him on to http://www.frontpageforms.com/ to help him with the FP form. There is not code actually - just a couple of clicks & FP will do it all for him

I'm awaiting an answer from http://www.frontpageforms.com/ per corey's suggestion. I will post code if I get it, while I'm waiting if any one else know this code please post.

They can. Sorry I did not know that you still needed some help. I did not get an e-mail

Anway, nam2000, right click on your FP form & choose form properties. Here you will see the place to enter your e-mail address.

If you are not familiar at all with FP forms, take a look here:
    http://www.frontpageforms.com/custom_form.htm
    And then read this: http://www.frontpageforms.com/setting_up_confirmation.htm

There is no code to be sent. FP creates it for you & you cannot edit it. You can edit something things, but FP uses the web bots / FP extensions to e-mail the results to you.
