Watch out for those FFA sites
I've been experimenting with way to promote url removed and one tactic was '*ree For All' link affiliate programs. How were my results ?
I was overwelmed - by spam. This is a obvious result of posting my e-mail address, but though I got 30 pieces of mail, I got 0 hits.
I get more hits from random search terms ( recently "blue+klingon+symbol" ) than I do from these FFA sites.
What does work ? Contributing real information that people care about. I even discovered that google punishes sites for being listed on some of these FFA sites. I hope google doesn't notice, and until then I'll just keep deleting the SPAM.

Google does not punish for any sites that link to you. If you link to a "bad neighborhood" you may be penalized.
