5 CJ Problems
I am a newbie to affiliate programs.Since my English is not good enough,I am not absolutely sure if I understand the terms of CJ.com.The following questions may sound stupid but I do hope you could help me out.
1.If I want to earn commission for referring other webmasters to join cj network,do i HAVE TO apply for their "Merchant Program" for approval,or may i just paticipate in ANY merchants' affiliate program(those approved instantly)?
2.Is there a "45 day cookie" thing? (ie.If a webmaster visits my site and clicks on a CJ link, the cookie is loaded into his browser and stays there until 45 days period expires,so that i can still earn commission when 44 days later that visitor directly goes to CJ's site and sign up for that program.)
3.Do other third party solutions(especially Linkshare and Befree) implement a "45 day cookie" policy?
4.If I don't like the banners and textlinks provided by CJ,can i make them invisible on my site however still be properly tracked? May I achieve that by using a redirecting page?
5.Will Cj be reponsible for their merchants' payment? I mean,if a merchant goes broke, will CJ guarantees the affiliates still get paid for their commission owed?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Joseph, For answers to specific questions you may want to try cjs very own forum
I will tell you, if it comes down to who is the best CJ, Befree, or linkshare. I would suggest CJ over ANY OTHER company EVERY TIME.

Try http://www.freecounts.com, they tell you a whole lot about who visits your site, when, what hour, what day, where they came from, what word for the search engine they used to fine you, etc.
