    Question link to different window ?

    I have code to pop-up a window (not an alert, but an actual browser window) when the main page loads.

    Is there a way to open a link from the pop-uped window in the first window? If i put a link to close the window, could that same link open a page in the first window as the pop-up closes???

    Can i name the window like i would a frame in order to do it with targeting??

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    yes, you can access 'opener' which is the parent window. Example -
    Code:
    onClick="opener.location.href='link.html';self.close();"
