targeting different frames background problem
Hello,
I am desinging a web page. I am having a problem with one aspect of a hyperlink that targets a different frame.
I have four frames on a page. The right frame has thumbnails pictures which I want to turn into hyperlinks that target the center frame in the main page. And then display a center larger picture, of the image that I clicked on, in the right frame. However, whenever I target that image to the center frame, It looses the background color of which I choose. There is a selection in frontpage for page properties and the background tab. then there is a check mark for selecting the background from another page. I have created a blank page with the background that I wanted, however whenever I click on the hyperlink, it looses the background color. Is there a workaround. I have tried making a transparent image, and then doing the same thing, however this does not change what happens to the background color.!!

Its because your link goes directly to the image. If you display just an image, then it cannot have a background colour because there is no page behind it.
Try putting each large image in a page a linking to that page instead. If one of our members helps you, please click theicon to add to their reputation!
