    scrollbar ratio

    Hi everyone,
I'm an html newbie and am working on a website right now. I have decided that an iframe will be good to use on one page. Is there a way to make the scrollbar 1/2 the size of the entire cell, yet it still scrolls all of the information in the cell. To further explain, if I have a frame window that is 500 pixels high, then the scrollbar will also be 500 pixels high. Is there any way to make that scrollbar located in just the bottom 250 pixels, but it still works on the entire frame?
I don't think I've ever seen this before on any other website, so I'm guessing its not possible at the moment. However I figured it would be worth asking.

    Thanks for all the help,
    Nicholi

    Hiya.

Good question, not seen that one before.

We dont have a lot of control over things like scrollbars. However, in theory you could have enough empty space above your content so that it might 'fake' what your after.

The alternative would be to use Flash or similar. Yuk
