Help for my Web Hoster
I hope you could help me out with the hoster that would best fit my needs. I know it's a jungle out there and your input would greatly cut down the options that I have to select from. Thank you very much for your help. More power!
1. Server engines for PHP and ASP
2. Database support: MySQL
3. Automated Mailer
4. 1G Web Space or more
6. Highly recommended by you

Do you really need both PHP and ASP? PHP is associated with *nix servers and ASP is associated with Windows servers (though there is a version of ASP that runs on *nix servers, though I've not heard good things about it).
Some questions for you:
1. How much transfer do you need per month?
2. What's "cheap" for you?

Thanks for the reply.
1. 30 - 40 Gb transfer will be just enough.
2. Around $7.50 per month is reasonable for me.
3. Yes, both PHP and ASP. It's because the website was developed using PHP and the payment gateway facility I am considering uses ASP. Thanks very much in advance for the help.

Especially considering your back end requirements you are asking for a ton of storage and transfer for an unreasonably low price. I am not saying that you cannot find a host who will give you this, I am saying I would not buy from a host who could give this, they will not be around for the long run.
My suggestion would be easycgi

I agree. You definitely need to consider raising your budget. Like Dave says, you'll probably find a host at the price, but chances are you'll be back in 2-3 months, looking for a new host. You get what you pay for.

What payment gateway are you considering? Many of them have PHP alternatives, I know AUthoriz.net doesn't tell you about the php gateway, but there are tons available for free on the internet..

I knew I was in the right place! Million thanks!
I'll consider raising my budget now. Well the 1Gb space is quite irrelevant as of now, as I am just to start the web site. I put it that big because of future plans. Well a 300 to 500Mb will be enough to start with, and I can just upgrade later on, right?
Now 30 to 40Gb transfer is big (again I was thinking of future plans), I think the 15Gb transfer of easygi will be good for now. Can I just have a few more suggestions [other webhosters] for me to study, now that I have considered your very much appreciated suggestions.
