    Problem with Background-color CSS and Netscape -- simplified

    Hi. I've been working on building this site for some time, but am stuck on a problem I am having getting Netscape to see the background color specified for a header. Earlier I posted a lot of code, but now I have it stripped down. Basically the header should have a blue background. In Opera and Explorer it does, but in Netscape it doesn't. Since there is so little code here I must be missing something as obvious as a purple elephant in my front yard. Any help seeing what the problem is would be appreciated.

    Here is the html:

    <html>

    <head>
    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="test.css">
    </head>
    <body>

    <h1>Company Name</h1>

    </body>
    </html>

    Here is the stylesheet it is referencing.

    <STYLE type="text/css">

    <!--

    h1 {
    background-color: #3333cc;
    }

    -->

    </STYLE>

    Any ideas?

    Okay, I'm having the same problem - and I haven't figued it out. My HTML is roughly identical to Dagmar's, except I'm using three-digit hex code: background-color: #36f;. It works fine in MSIE, but not in Netscape 7.1.

    Anyone??
