    Question submission form help

    Hi Everyone!

    I can't seem to get a basic submission form to work on my site. The code I am using is:

    <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="mailto:EMAIL ADDRESS HERE">

    <b>
    <font size="1" face="Arial, Helvetica" color="#0033CC">Sign up for our newsletter!</font></b>

    <input type="text" name="textfield" value="Enter e-mail here">

    <input type="submit" name="apply" value="OK">
    </form>

    Can someone plese help me? The write email window comes up with the email address intact but the information I put in the text fields do not show up in the body of the email.

    Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Off to bed

    -Brent

    mailto is not a valid form action. It is used as a link to open the users default mail client. To process the form your action should point to a script such as formmail.cgi if you have it.
