    Google dropping PPC campaigners

Im not one to subscribe to the conspiracy theories but there have been scurilous rumours of late. Mainly they seem to suggest that Google is delibrately dropping domain names that have embarked on PPC campaigns.

Is there any truth to this, also it is no secret that Google plans to float fairly soon and the main revenue stream for Google is Adwords.

Im sure its some kind rejigging of the search engine algorythms but does make you think.

We know that there is no such pruning of websites which utilize Adwords, atleast not an across the board pruning. I see PPC advertisers all the time show up in regular SERPS.

If you take the word of Google themselves, they do not have immediate plans on the table for an IPO, they said this as recently as a couple of weeks ago.

The last couple months has been a mess at Google, I think even they would agree on that. This week is supposed to be a big one as far as getting things back to the way they were. The new algo should hopefully settle within the next 24-48 hours and there will be a whole new conspiracy theory. I think we should give them names like the updates

If Google dropped sites from their natural search engine rankings after they started using Adwords, what would be the incentive for using Adwords? Any correlation you've seen along those lines is purely coincidental.
