After reading all this stuff and seeing all the stuff written out for me I still don't see the point of it really. It just seams like a harder way to do the same thing you can do with html.

while I see your point, I also have to disagree.
XHTML is just a 'buffer' to try to get the millions of web-designers out there used to XML (which will become the universal Markup Language).
XML is very different to HTML, very element based, but also very logical.
Also, XHTML goes through an SGML parser with an awful lot less errors than HTML.If one of our members helps you, please click the icon to add to their reputation!

While I see YOUR point...
I STILL don't like it, haha. And if it does, I don't think I'll really take a serious thought of learnin it until it goes universal
