    Hi, welcome to the forum. You quoted yourself?

    You cannot. This functionality is built into the browser. The only workaround is to not use the parent browser at all, and work from a child window to start with.

    Close window without confirmation

    You can do this by using Javascript to set the opener to null.

    e.g.

    function closeWindow()
    {
    window.opener=null;
    window.close();
    }

    Calling this function in the "onClick" event for a button should close the window without prompting the user for confirmation
