    Angry buffer overflow

Hmm this is my first ever post on this site....

I've found this on my linux webserver aswell... it's due to ANOTHER exploit in windows! the ntdll.dll (which talks directly to IIS).

The url specified is a pdf file that will explain further. http://home.comcast.net/~merana296463/files/fatelabs-ntdll-analysis.pdf

    Welcome to the forums

Anybody on a *nix server should be ok, as you said it is a windows exploit and will not affect others.

Here is what microsoft has to say about it.

yeah, it's also worth noting that although on that link it says the MS Server 2003 doesnt have this exploit, IIS on 2003 does have alot of problems so I wouldnt trust it.
