    more questions about hypercells

    i've been toying for the past couple hours trying to get this and nothing seems to work. I have a simple menu of five table cells with a word in each. i would like it so that onMouseOver will change both the bgcolor of that cell and the color of the text in the cell. please help.

    Hi,

    onMouseOver is a JavaScript event handler, however the effect you are looking for can be achieved with CSS.
    Forgive me if this looks a little rushed im about to hit the town!

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    .body {
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-style: normal;
    line-height: normal;
    font-weight: normal;
    color: #333;
    }

    .linkcell a {
    padding: 3px;
    display: block;
    border: 2px #f60;
    background-color: #40e0d0;
    font-size: 12px;
    text-decoration: none;
    line-height: 1em;
    width: 160px;
    }

    .linkcell a:hover {
    color: #fff;
    background-color: #f60;
    border: 2px solid #f60;
    }

    a:link {
    color: #00F;
    }
    -->
    </style>

    </head>

    <body class="body">

    <table width="500" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2">

    <tr>
    <td class="linkcell">
    <div align="center">
    <a href="http://www.google.com">Google rollover Link</a>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
